Pattaya has markets for every taste: handmade things, clothes, food from stalls and souvenirs. These are the main ones, with what to buy and eat.
Thepprasit Night Market
One of the best-known night markets of Pattaya. It is open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings and has hundreds of stalls with clothes, accessories and electronics.
- To buy: cheap clothes, accessories, handmade things.
- To eat: grilled seafood, mango with sticky rice, meat on skewers.
- Tip: come early to avoid the crowd and to find the best prices.
Soi Buakhao Market
A local market in the middle of Pattaya for cheap shopping. It is open on Tuesdays and Fridays.
- To buy: inexpensive electronics, second-hand clothes, odd souvenirs.

- Tip: bargain, it is part of the habit of the place.
Pattaya Night Bazaar
A covered market near Second Road. It is calmer and out of the heat.

- Tip: look for stalls with handmade jewellery, they make good gifts.
Jomtien Beach Night Market
A relaxed market on Jomtien Beach Road with shops, food and entertainment by the sea.
- To buy: things for the beach, summer clothes, souvenirs.
- To eat: seafood from the grill, fried bananas, coconut ice cream.
- Tip: live music plays while you shop and eat.
