Huay Yai despite it does not have its own access to the beaches, is quite a pretty area. There is a lot of greenery here, so the views from the windows are quite beautiful. However there are practically no high buildings here, so there are no panoramic views. Huay Yai is located 30 km West to Pattaya and 120 km to Bangkok airport Suvarnabhumi.
There is not much entertainment here but at the same time there are two amazing temples: Wat Yan and Mondop. There is also a magnificent Khao Chi Chan rock where 109-meter image of the Buddha is lined with gold plates.
