Bamboo Beach Pattaya
Bamboo Beach lies in the Naklua area in the north of Pattaya and continues the popular Wong Amat Beach. There are no bamboo thickets on the coast despite the name. Palms and leafy trees give plenty of shade.
The entry into the water is shallow and the depth grows gradually. Strong waves are rare, even in windy weather and in the monsoon season. The shore is golden sand mixed with fine shell rock, the bottom is sandy without holes and sharp drops, with stones and algae now and then. The swimming area is fenced with pontoons.
