A сoral island Ko Lan (Koh Larn) is located 9 km from Pattaya and is considered a truly paradise. Though the island is not so big - only 4 km in length, it contains 5 main beaches and several additional ones, which are comfortably hidden in the bays. Per tourists - the beaches are very clean, and the surrounding landscape is very beautiful. The only drawback of Ko Lan is the large number of tourists.
The beaches on the island are private property, so you will have to rent a sun lounger to sunbathe on them. Apparently for this reason, prices for services and goods are higher here than on the mainland.
You can stay at Ko Lan in comfortable hotels as well. However most of them are on the eastern side of the island, where there are no beaches. But this is not a problem: motorcycle taxis and minibuses run between the beaches, and fans of high-speed driving can also rent a bike. You can get to the island itself from the mainland by speadboat or liner.
There are not too much attrcations on the island. People come here mainly for a beach holiday. The only thing is to see the temple, see Buddha statues or visit the observation deck overlooking the island itself or nearby Pattaya. The island also has traditional water activities - diving, banana rides, jet skis. Even despite the large number of tourists, Ko Lan can be considered the cleanest swimming place in Pattaya.
